Since 2006 it has been the law that School Boards of Governors are obligated to arrange care for children both before and after school. This is known in Dutch as the BSO (buitenschoolse opvang). The School Board has chosen for the ‘estate agent model’. This means that, as a parent, you are able to choose whether to use an after school care facility and also to choose which one.

The School Board has signed an agreement with one organization. This organisation is obligated to fulfil the legal requirements. This ensures that your child will be well cared for when you choose this establishment.

Columbus offer professional childcare (from 0 through 12 years) at the campus of the International School Eindhoven (ISE). Childcare is offered throughout the day for babies and toddlers aged 0 - 3 years. After school care is offered for children from 4 - 12 years.
